Ivory is the newest addition to our mid-fire clay range, firing to a beautiful warm cream colour at Cone 6. Sitting between MB2 and Studio White, Ivory offers the perfect balance of warmth and brightness, making it a versatile new cream clay with 20% (0-0.2mm) fine natural grog.

It has a soft creamy finish with the slightest natural speckle. Ivory throws beautifully, holds its shape exceptionally well, and offers a smooth, reliable feel, making it an excellent choice for both functional ware and decorative pieces.

Please use cones to verify your firings. Don't rely on kiln controllers only.

- Glaze up to cone 8

- Dry shrinkage 5-6%

- Cone 5 - Total shrinkage 13%, Absorption 1.5-2%

- Cone 6 – Total shrinkage 13%, Absorption 1-1.5%

- Cone 7 – Total shrinkage 13%, Absorption 1%

- Cone 8 – Total shrinkage 13%, Absorption <1%
